God has gifted Justin with administrative and pastoral gifts and has formed these gifts in him through years of experience in ministry on the mission field. Justin believes wholeheartedly in the concept of family, fully desiring for the Lifeline family to lean into their giftings and use them to extend God’s love to others. In his time as Executive Director, he is tremendously grateful to lead a family of called individuals who care for the seriously ill and their loved ones.

Paul Riddle

Paul Riddle

Director of Spiritual Care - Houston

713-524-1055
priddle@lifelinechaplaincy.org

Through challenging experiences early in life, and later through formal education and training, God equipped Paul to come alongside people who are hurting, supporting them as they do the hard work of coping. This has been the focus of his ministry throughout his career as a U.S. Navy chaplain, in church ministry, and now with Lifeline. He rejoices that he is part of a community of caregivers who share a passion for supporting the seriously ill and their loved ones.

Gabe Fisher

Gabe Fisher

Gabe is motivated by the belief that God is present in the ordinary and even difficult moments of life and loves to hear peoples’ stories. He views prayer and the compassion of Christ as being central to his faith and ministry calling. Gabe has experienced the care of genuine people in his life and hopes to be that gentle presence for others. He has a background in rural ministry, teaching ministries, bi-vocational work, and hospice care, and is very grateful for the chance to join this work and team.

Tom Nuckels

Tom Nuckels

Director of Spiritual Care – Central Texas

In his years of preaching ministry, Tom found himself drawn to the bedside of those who were sick, supporting family members in ICU waiting room, or comforting grieving families. These experiences formed him and his understanding of and giftedness in pastoral care. Tom feels called and honored to companion others in the sacred spaces of their lives as they journey through times of serious illness.

David Martin

David Martin

Director of Spiritual Care - Tarrant County

David loves the communion experienced in a hospital room. In those spaces, it’s all about serving Christ, and David believes God allows him to put patients at ease through listening with genuine curiosity to their stories. He sees himself symbolically washing the feet of the patients he visits, hearing at a deeper level that which binds them together – their humanity and mutual reliance on Jesus. David also appreciates the laughter and sorrow shared among the Lifeline family, providing care and support for each other.

Chuck Hix

Prior to Lifeline Chaplaincy, Chuck worked in the cardiac medical industry where he found great gratification in helping restore people physically to a better quality of life. He loves how Lifeline does the very same thing, helping people find a better quality of life spiritually. Patient stories and conversations with donors fill his heart and motivate him to use his gifts in this ministry. And what brings Chuck even more joy? Working with men and women who believe in the same mission!

Mike Gravois

Mike Gravois

Having experienced God’s grace and mercy in his own life, he loves that his work in development with Lifeline Chaplaincy allows him to love others as he has been loved by the Lord.

Boards

An Executive Board and four Development Boards play a vital role in the ongoing growth of Lifeline Chaplaincy. The Executive Board consists of individuals who care dearly for our mission and ministry. They collaboratively work to oversee our day-to-day operations. The Development Boards, one for each region (Central Texas, Dallas, Houston, and Tarrant County), help us establish and maintain excellent relationships with our partnering churches, individual donors, and volunteer base.
