2021 Volunteer Retreat

Friday-Saturday, October 29-30, 2021

Lifeline Chaplaincy loves our volunteers!  Once a year we like to provide you the opportunity to gather with volunteers and staff from other locations to connect, fellowship, relax, eat good food, and retreat in the piney woods of Texas at our Volunteer Retreat.  All four Lifeline locations will gather again for this year’s retreat October 29-30, 2021 (Friday-Saturday), and we hope you will be amongst the group.

We are headed back to Camp Allen Conference Center in Navasota, TX.  There, we will stay in hotel-style rooms, with each room having two double beds and a private bathroom.  There will be two volunteers per room.  If you have a roommate preference, please email Valerie Crim – vcrim@lifelinechaplaincy.org.  She will do her best to accommodate all requests.  You will also receive three buffet style meals in the Camp Allen dining room.  It’s retreating at its finest, at no cost to you.

Friday arrival is from 3-6pm (the earlier, the better, so you have plenty of time to get checked into your room and relax before our first official gathering).  The retreat will end at 2pm on Saturday, giving folks plenty of time to travel home.  As always, there are a limited number of hotel rooms we have reserved.  Registration is a first-come, first-serve system, so please RSVP as soon as possible.  Please note – This retreat is for Lifeline pastoral care volunteers only.
