WORKSHOPS

Workshops are our most comprehensive, in-person educational trainings. Workshops—Ministry in Times of Illness and Loss (MTIL), parts 1 and 2—primarily serve as our means of training our hospital volunteers, though the skills learned can be applied to different circumstances. Part 1 introduces how to provide quality pastoral care in a hospital setting. Part 2 is a follow-up for those who have been serving as volunteers to advance their skills and reflect upon their experiences. These workshops utilize our training manual, which is filled with an abundance of skills, insights, and resources.
